Wake by Lisa McMann

Title: Wake
Rating:4/5
Description:
Not all dreams are sweet.
For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people's dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody-notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie's seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime. She can't tell anybody about what she does -- they'd never believe her, or worse, they'd think she's a freak. So Janie lives on the fringe, cursed with an ability she doesn't want and can't control. Then she falls into a gruesome nightmare, one that chills her to the bone. For the first time, Janie is more than a witness to someone else's twisted psyche. She is a participant...

Review: This book has a very interesting concept that I had not previously come into contact with. What if every time some one falls asleep and has a dream you are sucked from your body and into their dreams??  That is exactly what happens to Janie. She can't control it and from the outside you would think she was having a seizure. She keeps this a secret for her whole life until she finally tells one boy Cable who she is not really friends with but has been a frequent visitor of his dreams since he insists on sleeping in class.Janie has to figure out if this is a blessing or a curse and a way to have a normal life with this CONDITION. The book is a short read and very gripping from the first page so it is well worth giving a read I myself cannot wait to get into the next one.
Thanks and Happy Reading!!

The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa

Title: The Iron Queen
Rating:4.5/5
Description: My name is Meghan Chase. I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it. This time, there will be no turning back.

My Review: I am thoroughly hooked on this series. The first book was really good and I could not put it down and the second was good too just not as good as the first but this one is by far the best of the series so far. Meagan was banished from the Nevernever with Ash and now it is just time for them to live their lives together in the real world. Did she really think it was going to be that easy? No sooner than they get home is she being tracked by the Iron Fey, someone always wants to kill this girl. This is another adventure of survival and love and friendship. She is once again having to fight to keep the one she loves and save everyone else too. This book really develops some of the relationships and even clears up some questions you had from book 2 but in the end it leaves you with just as many as it answered. Not exactly a full cliffhanger but if there is a such thing as a half cliffhanger then this is it. In some ways it ended out well enough that I am not frantic to read the next book but in other ways I am. You will just have to read it to see what I mean. i highly recommend it so go pick up all 3 and Happy Reading!!
